British artist Christopher Gee is known for his graphic, yet naive-looking paintings of historic houses, landmarks, portraits and forested landscapes. This "Toll House" watercolor on paper was painted in 2011 and reflects the sense of solitude and silence often found in Gee's works.
Christopher Gee Biography
Christopher Gee is a London based artist born in 1987. He studied his BA Drawing at Camberwell College of Art in 2010 and his MA Drawing at Wimbledon College of Art in 2014. Inspired Folk Art, the Northern Renaissance and German Romanticism, is work explores quiet isolated scenes. When he is not painting he is exploring forgotten landmarks and overlooked landscapes. His work is now present in public and private collections un the U.K. and is now working on a book out later this year published by Scandinavian publisher "New Heroes and Pioneers".
