The exquisite creamware oval basket with stand, shown here, reveals the artistry and sophistication of 19th century English table ware.  Featuring an oval reticulated pearlware basket with scroll handles and matching reticulated stand, both pieces are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.  Unmarked.

This delightful teacup and saucer is designed by Deborah Sears of Isis Ceramics, Oxford, England to look like an authentic piece of 18th century ceramic.  The company draws on a combination of fine white earthenware and natural pigments to hand-produce and hand-paint the historic-like scenic patterns. The Horton Hunt pattern, shown here in Sepia, is only one of the company's designs.  

This rare set of vintage Majolica Artichoke Plates was among the special discoveries that arrived in our last shipment from Paris.  The fanciful design and striking colors are typical of Majolica made in the late 19th century.  As collectors can tell you, the more intricate and raised the design, the more valuable the piece.  The condition of these artichoke plates definitely makes them worthy of collecting.  Sold as a pair.

This 20th century glass vase comes from Riihimaki Glassworks in Finland, founded in 1910. Riihimaki was the largest glass factory in Finland, with Tamara Aladin as one of the four chief designers.

A beautiful, Etruscan style black Bucchero pitcher. Bucchero is a class of ceramics that were produced in central Italy in the regions of the pre-Roman Etruscan population and is derived from the Latin word meaning "drinking vessel." There is a slight hair-line crack on the lip.
