We are proud to revitalize this heritage technique "wool crewel work" which has a rich history, dating back centuries. It originated in Kashmir, a remote region known for its skilled artisans and intricate needle work.

Indigo Woven Stripe Pillow constructed with fabric from North Africa.

All pillows are carefully constructed with the finest natural materials. As the fronts are vintage and antique textiles, some imperfections may be present. Great care and attention has been taken to ensure that significant tears or stains have been addressed or avoided. The vintage textiles have been lined, and each pillow is sewn with overlocked inside seams with generous seam allowances and finished with hidden zippers. Back fabrics are either natural linen or cotton velvet.

Avoid direct exposure to sunlight to minimize fading and avoid placing in high traffic areas to prevent damage. Only professionally spot clean if necessary.

Pillows are filled with a premium 90% white duck feather / 10% snow white down filler. Remove filler from cover to professionally clean separately if necessary.

Originating from nomadic tribes in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Suzanis, like the one shown here, are known for their intricate embroidery, rich coloration and elaborate design motifs.  This Suzani, possibly late 18th / early 19th century, features silk embroidery on cotton backed linen.  It is in very good antique condition and can be used as a table or bed covering, or displayed on the wall for decoration.

The Bristol bedding collection, shown here, is made from the highest quality Irish linen and produced by the skilled weavers at Quagliotti—a family owned and operated luxury textile mill in Turin, Italy founded in 1933. 

Combining pale shades of blue and grey with white, the duvet and top sheet are finished with a contrasting border; the pillow shams with a 1" contrasting flange.  Soft, beautiful and ultra luxe, our Bristol linen bedding is available by custom order.
