The Helix table lamp, shown here, is the creation of Italian designer Valentina Giovando and inspired by the Helix Pomatia snail. Each one of the fiberglass clippings forming the cochlea is cut out, assembled, and sewn by hand, as are the crystals closing the two ends of the spiral. Definitely a work of art!
